Destiny Review
The game that keeps trying to be loved, but does it succeed?
From the moment you begin your journey on Destiny you are presented with some beautiful graphics in the form of your Create a Character. I'm not going to lie that is the most fun part of the game. The ammount of options that we have to select from is at an insane ammount and is simply beautiful. The most favourable thing I can say about this game is the breath taking worlds it presents to a player, and the blistering shoot outs that take place in these worlds. But the issue with Destiny is that it is greatly lacking a core element to it, the worlds that are so big to get lost in just lack any sort of interaction. Which is a real shame because even on old gen consoles the games attention to detail stands out at such a beautiful level, every single rock hand designed. The repeats in this game graphics and texture wise is at such a minimal level, you wont even notice unless you are looking at every piece of rock and terrain for a long while (don't judge me). The main issue with Destiny is that it feels like it is trying to be everything, and incoperate so many different elements into a single game that it essentially feels like nothing. Which is dissapointing. The objctives on the game aren't really a focus of the gaem but more of a side mission because you get distracted by some sh** head trying to steal your kills. I will admit that the bike expierence on this game is quite satisfying due to the fact that it controls how I would imagine a speeder bike on Starwars battle front is. I would say this game is worth borrowing from someone and if you enjoy it steal your friends copy or purchase it online. But I can't sleep at night knowing I have recomended this game to people, it just feels lack luster....I would rather play COD.
6/10
